In 1984, Neilan Lund presented the initial drawings for the Dickens’ Village Series® to Department 56. Seven shops and a church became the
cornerstone of a series, which grew into a charming assortment of buildings and accessories, creating a modern decorating tradition. To commemorate
25 years of Dickens’ Village, the artists at Department 56 designed a fresh new series of buildings based on the original 1984 introductions. These
special editions are destined to become classics. The tradition continues...
