Using top quality eucalyptus wood and cork, farmed from environmentally managed forests, each placemat has a unique protective coating which gives almost complete resistance to any kind of scuff marks or stains. Pimpernel placemats and coasters are also heat resistant to 110 degrees C (230 degrees F), easy to wipe clean and will not peel away at the edges even after repeated use.
