Jason Wiliasmburg Everard Damask Placemats
Williamsburg Collection
This damask design is inspired by an English wallpaper, circa 1760-1770, found in the dining room of Colonial Williamsburg's Thomas Everard House. The wallpaper features large-leaved vines with flowers - a common design in the 18th century. Damasks were a popular look during the period, often found in silk or wool clothing or upholstery.
