The Boy with Nutcracker brings the tradition of the nutcrackers to the Byers Choice Caroler series. The nutcrackers are known to date back to the 15th and 16th centuries as beautifully elaborated items, which were believed to keep evil spirits away. Today they are known as figures in whose mouth a nut is cracked.
