Inspired by the main characters of one the of most loved comic strips and later developed into the Peanuts cartoon animation series based on the original comic strip.
Snoopy made his first appearance on October 4, 1950 in a Peanuts strip. However, it was not until six years later when Charles Schulz, the American cartoonist and author of this famous comic strip, decided to reinforce the dog's personality by making him stand upright on his hind legs like a human. Snoopy, the only dog in history known to be a follower of Seneca, is stoic and flexible and with a single mission in life: survival. Although he never talks, he manages to express what he feels. His main interest is playing golf, though he is also part of the baseball team of Charlie Brown, his master. His kennel is furnished with all kinds of strange things, from pools tables to Van Gogh paintings.
Snoopy suffers from claustrophobia. That is why he never sleeps inside his kennel. Instead, we always see him on top of it, next to his loyal friend Woodstock. NAO has depicted him hugging the little bird. Snoopy's special friendship with Woodstock started when birds nested on his belly while he was asleep. The birds' parents went to find food for their offspring, but never returned, and Snoopy took care of them until were able to fly. With the passing of time a friendship started with this fragile little creature who communicates through yawning, sighing and snoring, and uses punctuation marks like ! or ? to express emotions. Snoopy is the only one who can understand him.
A perfect piece for lovers of this cartoon strip, followed by 355 million readers in 75 countries. It is also ideal for collectors of TV characters in general, and to decorate children's bedrooms. NAO began this collection after the USA premiere of The Peanuts movie (November 6 2015), the fifth film based on these cartoons and the first of them made in 3D. The premiere coincided with the 65th anniversary of the birth of the famous strip. 5in H x 3.25in L
