A pair of sparrows is perched on the branches of a flower-laden hibiscus. The vase is a demonstration of the excellent work of the ornamentation team. The branches and flowers surround the piece in such a way that one can appreciate the relief and the volume of the scene. The decoration also helps to enhance the high-relief etching on the vase, the different tones of blue and grey used in each one of them, as well as the form of applying them as they decrease in intensity, lending a greater sense of depth to the piece.
Classic porcelain with a special mention for the intensity of yellow and black on the bases, two colors seldom used in Lladro pieces, at least over such wide areas.
