Kwan Yin is presented by Lladró as a beautiful image transmitting serenity and goodness, as a symbol of mercy that she is. On her left hand she carries healing water symbolizing the nectar of compassion and wisdom. Her right hand is performing a “mudra”, spiritual sign performed with the fingers intended to open or close certain energy sources and be able to perform meditation or relaxation. Her neck is adorned by a sumptuous necklace referring to the rosary used by her to invoke Buddha for aid. The base of the piece is a lotus flower. On Kwan Yin sculptures the lotus flower is used as a throne and symbol of the power endowed to her.
