This Christmas tree is the biggest ever made by Lladró (47 cm / 18 ½” tall). The base has inscriptions all around it wishing Merry Christmas in five languages; English, Italian, Japanese, Chinese and Russian; the piece could have been named International Christmas, or Christmas around the World. The green fir is being adorned with colorful ornaments and balls by five or six angels, who float around it wrapping a garland. At the top of it, a five-pointed star and a white dove. Several gift-wrapped presents wait to be opened at the feet of the tree until Christmas Day.
Classic glazed porcelain. The light of the star, on the top of the tree, shines over any colour around it, resulting on the fact that the upper leaves and branches seem non-painted, with white tones.
