Here we have a swimming swan with its long neck in a coy posture
The European common swan (Cygnus Olor) is a bird that, because of its habits, is taken as a symbol of faithfulness and commitment in love. When a swan chooses its couple, it remains faithful to it for the rest of its life. At the same time, it is an elegant and majestic bird, both in flight or swimming. For that reason it was chosen in ornamental gardens and ponds for palaces since the 18th century or in public parks for enjoyment by children and grown ups alike.
